Our New Addition!

No, it's not a baby. Not a squalling, wiggly, poopy baby. But a hot, sleek, gorgeous red car! Oh baby yeah! Trevor and I have been looking for a car for a while--we knew we wanted a Mazda 3 or better a Mazda 6, but we wanted it for under $10,000. So when we saw this one we snapped it right up! It's a 2003 Mazda 6, with only 27,000 miles on it! And we got it for $10,000! I don't know much about cars but sounds like a good deal to me! We bought it from a dealership that was awesome--I know, who knew dealerships could be awesome? So I recommend Henry Day Ford. Their salesmen aren't paid on commission so everything was straight forward. So yeah, this is Trevor's car, HE gets to drive it, and I'm feeling a little jealous!
In other news, I'm back at school! (Why did I put an exclamation point there? It makes it sound like GOOD news...) I'm glad I went back though because things were falling apart and I needed to be there. But I have noticed that the three week haitus has given me a little pep back. Usually by 4th quarter I'm exhausted. But now I'm a lot more fun with the kids, and when I'm sarcastic, I'm back to more funny than meen. Of course, one of my students didn't agree. She's this really obnoxious 7th grader who asked me the first day I was back, "Do you HATE me Mrs. Rees?" And I'm like, what's your name again? But what I said was, "Hate you? You aren't important enough to hate. That would mean I'd have to THINK about you. And let me tell you, after May you'll never cross my mind again." She was so stunned by my response--which was delivered dripping with sarcasm--which to a junior high kid is like sugar--that it became clear I had her. She just thinks I'm awesome now. It's just that easy. Take that Keith Barton.

Well I'm jealous too. It looks nice. Everyone is getting a new car! It's not fair.
